Athens: The Next 36 Hours
Finally found a taste of home (OK, Mexico; close enough) and then ran into Einstein, who was just hanging out in a computer store. The rain went into the night, when I met - and won the pub quiz with - two 18yo Aussies named Will & Charlie. We went to Gazi and Ammonia, and eventually back to the hostel, where they ate candy as I cut their hair with dull office scissors. At 5 am, the rain was only starting to let up.

Athens: The First 36 Hours
A night walk through the city gave me some cool moments. Prior to this, I flew through Paris and arrived in Athens on Friday. Despite the economic strife in the city, the cabs are all Mercedes. There are a ton of motorcycles, like the one breezing by this "man of glass" on the way from the airport. The view from my hotel is lovely, as was the smoke-filled tableau of my first dinner. I found some cool monuments, as well as some swastikas, but all in all Greece is great so far.
